As I told Jason Saturday night after the reception, the music was FABULOUS!!! I know I made the right choice picking you as the DJ! The lighting was great! Music selection, volume, announcements, EVERYTHING rocked!!!! I don’t think there was a time that the dance floor was less than 3/4 full. In fact, I know we could have used more room!!!
I will write a review, so just tell me where you want me to post it and I will! If you also want a handwritten note or email note to put up somewhere where brides will see it in your office, I’ll be happy to do that too! Just say the word.
Jason, I particularly want to thank you for the Anniversary dance. I knew that my parents would be the last ones standing, so was looking forward to that with great joy. They are in their mid eighties and my dad isn’t doing so good. I was teary eyed at the wedding ceremony once or twice, but actually sobbed hard sobs watching my parents dance!! My whole body shook. I was surprised at my intense reaction, but just thought it was the emotions of my love for them. But this morning when I watched the iPhone video my niece took, I realized that it was the music that made me especially emotional. THANK YOU for the perfect selection for the PERFECT moment!!! “I can’t help falling in love with you” was THE best song ever for this. What you do is truly an art! It’s not just playing a list of song the couple likes. It is weaving together music to create a fun and memorable evening that is a reflection of the newlyweds while still appealing to a range of guests!
Again, I can’t thank you enough for making our special day one that so many people will never forget! I hope to see you again! If I ever need a DJ, you will be the one I call.
You were absolutely AMAZING. Without you, there would have been no direction at all! Seriously, thank you SO much for being so wonderful at your job and as a person. I know we weren’t an easy group to get together, but you were so patient and fun and you directed, danced, took pictures, asked what we wanted, played awesome music and made everything so fun!
You made the screw ups from the videographer and photobooth, etc. seem so minor. Thanks for helping make our day even more special!
I can’t wait to see pics and use any that you want for your website if they turned out well!
Also when we get the film I can share the father/daughter dance video so you can see it! “
I just wanted to write a quick note thanking you on an exceptional night Saturday. Angela and I were floored with how many people stayed on the dance floor all night long and we both received SO many compliments on the music selections. If there’s a way for you to save wedding playlists I know of a few dozen people that would love to download it. Thanks for keeping the party going!!
Angela and I will definitely throw out some great recommendations for you ASAP!
On September 10, 2011, (9-10-11) a very lucky bride and groom had the wedding of their dreams. Just how did this happen? It’s a little Cinderella story that started with a few wedding vendors wanting to give back to the community of Austin, Texas.
Just like in Cinderella it takes the help of a lot of people or in this case wedding vendors. It started with a place to get married, a florist, a baker, a photographer, a rental company and someone to coordinate the whole thing. And before you could blink an eye, this Wedding Giveaway grew into a $30,000 value for the lucky bride and groom. WOW.
But becoming the winners of The Crystal Occasion’s Ultimate Wedding Giveaway was going to take a little work. The contestants had to enter their “love story” and the story would be voted on by their peers. Then the final three stories had to submit a video for a panel of judges. (Let me tell you that I’m glad I was not one of the judges, because it would have been a 3 way tie!) And in March 2011 the winners were announced. Trey and Alyssa would have their dream wedding on 9-10-11. A date that everyone could remember!
The wedding would take place in the Meadows at McMurtrie Farms. Chaplain Larry Todd would officiate the wedding and Angelic Strings would provide the ceremony music. The chairs were provided by Texas Party Rental. The wedding party flowers were provided by Cedar Park Florist. The bride was treated to Hair and Makeup by Beauty on the Go and Peace Love Nails provided the manicure and pedicure. And then the bride was adorned with diamonds from Hudson Jewelry.
And were not done!
The reception took place at the Pecan Pavilion with beautiful up lighting provided by IES Lighting. The table linens were provided by Texas Party Rental and the center pieces by Visual Lyrics. Kenny’s Coffee and Catering provided the meal for the guest. The guests were treated to the awesome talent of Crazy Cakes for the groom’s cake and the delicious wedding cake from Erin’s Custom Cakes.
Music for the reception was provided by 1st Class Entertainment and the photo booth that was a huge hit was provided by Fun Fun Foto. Crystal Occasions brought this all together and Seeking Sitter provided babysitting services for the wedding. The vintage furniture used to capture the bride and her wedding party was provided from Vintique Rentals. And of course Ed Kelley Photography was there to capture all the moments.
